All across North Carolina, Duke Energy is storing coal ash in unlined pits directly adjacent to our rivers and lakes. North Carolina has 14 power plants with coal ash ponds that are threatening the health of communities and polluting precious groundwater. Some lawmakers want to pick and choose which coal ash sites are cleaned up.

Join community members from across the state to tell your lawmakers that your community matters, and to ask them to cleanup coal ash across North Carolina!

Community members from across the state will meet with their lawmakers to express concerns about coal ash. They’ll let lawmakers know that no community should be left behind in a full cleanup.

We're sorry, the deadline for registering for this event has passed.
