Legislative Forum to feature Colorado’s hot legislative issues for 2013
If you are interested in learning more about legislative issues in Colorado, the best place to do that is our annual Legislative Forum to be held in Denver on Saturday, March 2. Co-sponsored by Sierra Club’s Rocky Mountain Chapter and the Audubon Society of Greater Denver, the event will feature legislators, lobbyists and experts on various topic areas being addressed in the 2013 legislative session. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded folks, legislators and lobbyists, and become involved the legislative process. Sierra Club lobbyist Chuck Malick and Audubon Colorado lobbyist Jen Boulton will review the session’s environmental bills.
Additionally, you will enjoy a good continental breakfast and lunch, too. The cost to attend is $12 with advance payment to RMC Sierra Club, Legislative Forum, First Plymouth Congregational Church, 3501 South Colorado Blvd., Englewood, CO 80113. The cost at the door is $15.
For more information about the event, or if you can bring lasagna or another hot dish for lunch, please contact Angela Medbery (303-433-2608). Sierra Club will reimburse lunch expenses.
