One of the biggest actions we’ll be holding this year is the Forward On Climate Rally a partnership between the Sierra Club, 350.org and others to host an event in Washington D.C. on February 17th that is shaping up to be the largest climate rally in American history.

In his inaugural address, President Obama made a bold commitment to take action in the fight against climate disruption.

"We, the people, still believe that our obligations as Americans are not just to ourselves, but to all posterity. We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations."

We need Georgia Chapter members in Washington with us, making history and demonstrating to the President that his commitment to climate change is a worthy legacy. Keystone XL is just the beginning. As the President's words in his inaugural address demonstrate, our movement is powerful and this rally will demonstrate that power in ways that we can leverage for all our local and national goals.

Join our Phone-Bank on Wednesday February 6th from 6-9pm at the Georgia Chapter Office on 743 East College Avenue Decatur, Ga 30030.

At 7:30 est, we will take a short break for a special Georgia Chapter conversation with Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune. You can join too by calling in on Wednesday, February 6th to 1-866-501-6174 and conference code 2000001#

Be part of the Georgia Chapter's pledge to be there in person, in strength. Work with your chapter leadership to make a commitment to join an event that will become part of the history of our movement.

SIGN UP to join us on Wednesday!

Date:
Time: 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM

We're sorry, the deadline for registering for this event has passed.

"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves."
