Arlington Community Hearing on Carbon Pollution and the new EPA Rules Central Library, 1015 N. Quincy St., Arlington (Ballston Metro)
Just last month the US EPA proposed new rules to limit carbon pollution from fossil fuel plants that burn coal and natural gas. This is the very first time the EPA has taken action to limit CO2 emissions from power plants which is the single largest source of greenhouse gases.
The EPA needs to hear from us to defend these proposed rules against the criticism of the fossil fuel industry. We need your help to make this happen and to send a signal to the US EPA and the White House that efforts to address climate change are appreciated and supported by a majority of Americans.
Sign up now to join us at our Arlington Citizens Hearing and speak out to support the EPA and its limits on carbon from power plants!
WHEN: Tuesday, October 29; 6:30-8:30 PMWHERE: Central Library, 1015 N. Quincy St., Arlington (Ballston Metro)
