Ken Burns filming at Montana's Glacier National Park.The Ken Burns documentary "The National Parks: America's Best Idea" airs on PBS on Sunday, September 27th. The film is a six-part series of stunning cinematography that documents the history of the National Parks. The Sierra Club is proud to have played a significant role in the creation of our national parks and is featured prominently in the Ken Burns series. Please click here to learn more about our national parks.

To celebrate our national parks and the documentary, the Georgia Chapter of the Sierra Club will be hosting the sneak peek viewing of the documentary at 4:00p.m. on Sunday, September 20, the weekend before the premiere. Join the Georgia Chapter at a beautiful location along the Chattahoochee River and Jones Bridge Park at the Fiserv Theatre. In benefit our the Sierra Club's environmental work, a donation of $10.00 is suggested for the event. Along the way, learn more about the work of the Georgia Chapter, enjoy refreshments, see the sneak peek documentary and learn how you can help preserve our beautiful land.
