Help Us Confront the Climate Cranks!

Confront the Climate Cranks!

For years, climate "skeptics" have denied the near-unanimous scientific consensus around global warming in an effort to delay action.

They're not "skeptics" -- they're cranks, and it's time to unmask those who are holding our nation's climate policy hostage. We're taking action to call out the climate cranks, shift the climate debate in Washington and, yeah, we are looking to make news.

Join us on February 15th as we confront the climate cranks who are sabotaging our nation's response to climate change!

We will be partnering with Mark Hertsgaard -- contributor to "The Nation" and author of the new book, "HOT:  Living Through the Next Fifty Years on Earth" -- Generation Hot Youth and other activists groups to confront climate change deniers.

Our goal?  Put the climate cranks on the spot and make them explain -- on camera and in front of kids -- why they have condemned the young people of Generation Hot to spend the rest of their lives coping with the hottest climate in civilization's history.

Here are the details:

WHAT: A day of action in Washington DC to confront the climate cranks. You can sign up to help confront climate cranks in the morning or the afternoon. There will also be an opportunity to attend a talk at lunchtime.

WHO: Mark Hertsgaard, Generation Hot youth, and You.

WHEN: Tuesday, February 15th. We will meet at 9:30 AM sharp, return for lunch at approximately 1 PM and then leave again at 2 PM for our final confrontation.

WHERE: 218 D Street, SE, Washington DC

Video of their encounters with the cranks will be shared after the fact with both mainstream and alternative media and circulated through the vast social networks of the participating organizations.

Sign up today and help us confront these climate change deniers!
