2012 MO Conservation Lobby Day
Governor's Office Building

Conservation Lobby Day 2012
Wednesday, February 29
Governor's Office Building, 200 Madison St., Jefferson City, MO 65101
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Each year, Missourians gather at the State Capitol to help educate legislators on the importance of smart environmental policy. From environmentalists, scientists, students and business-owners to hunters, anglers and farmers, this is an important opportunity to share your passion for the environment and have a big impact on environmental policies affecting Missouri.

We'll set up small group meetings with legislators, train you on the how-to's, and provide you a delicious local / organic lunch. You'll have the chance to experience first-hand how policy-making works, and advocate for energy efficiency, regulating coal ash pollution, and stopping a new nuclear power plant.

Conservation Lobby Day is a partnership of the Missouri Sierra Club, the Missouri Coalition for the Environment and other concerned groups throughout the state.

Register early for a rate of only $20 adult/$15 student or pay $25 at the door. Registration includes a light breakfast of coffee/pastries, an organic lunch, a training session, and lobbying materials.

To register early, send a check to: Missouri Sierra Club, 7164 Manchester Ave., St. Louis, MO 63143.  Please write "2012 Conservation Lobby Day" on the memo section of the check.

Time: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
