Dear Conservation Friends,
Several people asked about the Citizen Lobby/Advocacy Workshops we held earlier in the legislative session and were not able to make those dates, so I wanted to make you aware of a workshop Sierra Club is co-hosting with Arizona Interfaith Power and Light this coming Thursday. See details below. I hope you can come. It will be fun!

Advocacy Workshop
Thursday March 26
7:00 - 9:00 pm

Topics for the workshop include the following:

An overview of Arizona Government, emphasizing the Arizona Legislature and Corporation Commission;
Understanding how a bill becomes law;
The "Dos" and "Don'ts" of citizen lobbying;
Roll-playing experience.
