Please join us for a Conservation Leadership and Political Training Conference Friday, March 19th through Sunday, March 21st. We will be joined by National staff who will help the Chapter refine the Chapter's 2006-2008 strategic plan and working goals. We have a weekend packed full of sessions and fun times and we hope that you can join us.
The training weekend will kick off with registration and a social Friday night in Decatur. Registration will be held at the office from 4:00p.m. until 7:00p.m., with dinner to follow at 7:00p.m. at Leon's Full Service, 131 E. Ponce de Leon.

Lunch will be provided by the Fundraising Committee and Saturday afternoon we will break out into Conservation committees. The Executive Committee will meet during this time from 1:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. Saturday night, committees will meet for dinner at area restaurants with a bonfire to follow at the office.
Sunday morning, the conference will resume with a political committee break out and training. The cost to attend the training weekend is $10, including breakfast Saturday morning. Did you ever want to go hiking on a Saturday and still have time to run your errands? This trail takes us alongside the Chattahoochee River for about a half hour before turning inland to ascend about 150 feet up a wooded ridge. It then loops back down a long, slippery creek side descent to the river. No pets please. For more information, contact Susan at firstname.lastname@example.org or click here.
