1) Take Action: Fight for Clean Air Clean Air
We could save over 5,000 lives just by cleaning up acid pollution, mercury, and dioxins from dirty, old boilers scattered across the country. But some polluter allies in Congress would rather protect industry profits than our health. Over one hundred members of Congress signed a letter pressuring the EPA to weaken strong new standards that would, according to EPA analysis, save Americans $41 billion in health-related benefits without resulting in overall job losses.

4) Climate: The Job's Not Done
Blue Green AllianceAs part of the Blue Green Alliance, the Sierra Club and labor allies have launched a nationwide bus tour to push for Congressional action on climate, clean energy, and jobs.

"The Job's Not Done"  tour will hold rallies, clean energy demonstrations and roundtable discussions at 30 stops in 17 states from Nevada to Virginia over the next three weeks.
