Dear
Bears are an icon of the wild, regarded as among the most successful wild animals on the planet -- and we have some of the most amazing bear species right here in Alaska.
The PBS show Nature is running a series featuring adventurer and bear biologist Chris Morgan on a year-long motorcycle odyssey deep into Alaska’s bear country. He explores the amazing resiliency and adaptability of these majestic animals as they struggle to make a living in five dramatically diverse Alaskan ecosystems: coastal, urban, mountain, tundra, and pack ice.
We’re screening episodes 2 and 3 in Anchorage. Please join us to learn more about urban bears and the bears of the North Slope, like those in the National Petroleum Reserve. Follow Chris Morgan’s travels to the far north of Alaska and see the amazing wilderness, wildlife, and lifestyles of local Alaskans.
