Make the Call: The Next Action Against Tar Sands
According to NASA climate scientist James Hansen, if we want to win on climate, we need to win on tar sands. Please join us on Tuesday, October 25th, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm PT for a call with the Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune to discuss the Sierra Club's Tar Sands campaign and learn how you can help us stop the expansion of this dirty oil. We'll talk about our plans to encircle the White House on November 6th, and how the Sierra Club and our allies are working to send President Obama a message that he can't ignore about the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline. We hope you can join us! Tuesday, Oct. 25, 5pm PT. Call-in number: 866-501-6174. Dial-In Code: 24408791892# |
