Take Action: Support Incentives for Off-Shore Wind
As 2011 comes to a close and still no off-shore wind farms have been built in US waters, it's time to support the measures that will make that clean energy happen. A key tax incentive is expiring at the end of 2012 that gives off-shore wind developers access to a 30 percent investment tax credit (ITC). Tell Congress to support bills that would extend the credit for the first 3000 megawatts (roughly 600 turbines) to be installed off-shore. |
