The Bureau of Land Management is working to improve management of Western public lands for people and wildlife, like sage grouse, pronghorn, and elk. President Obama has asked Congress for $15 million to implement this National Sage Grouse Planning Strategy and protect our western heritage.

Thanks to a trade agreement being negotiated in great secrecy, the natural gas industry could get the green light to export natural gas to other countries, paving the way for more fracking. Not only could these trade talks lead to more fracking, but free trade agreements often put the interests of corporations before the health and safety of communities and workers.
