Explore, Enjoy and Protect the Planet
Dear
Friend
,
They said we'd never get 10,000 on a frigid February day. Our staff laughed and said we'd get 25,000. Then you laughed and sent more than 40,000.
Thank you. Remember this moment -- and don't ever look back.

Tonight, one of my staffers asked me what my favorite part of the rally was. At first, I couldn't do it. Just one? The First Nations round dance, the amazing speeches, the chants outside the White House, dancing with my daughter on stage -- just one? But then it dawned on me, it was the very start of the rally, walking out on stage with Bill McKibben and Van Jones and seeing just how strong this movement has become. Seeing your energy, your passion, and feeling that optimism all over again.
Whether you were there in person, watching the livestream, or attending a solidarity rally, tell me -- what was your favorite moment? Send me a Facebook message or shoot me a note on Twitter at @bruneski.
Once we have clean energy, we won't need to frack anymore. Once we're off oil, we won't need anymore pipelines. Everything the climate movement will accomplish over the next many years, we will remember this moment, when it started in earnest.
We'll have more about what's next in the coming days, but know that this is just the beginning. Thank you -- don't ever look back.
