The Largest Climate Rally in U.S. History
Three busloads of Connecticut Sierra members and fellow activists joined over 40,000 others from around the country in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, February 17 for the largest climate rally in U.S. history. We are holding President Obama to his inaugural word about taking action on climate change.
The movement towards a clean energy future and away from the Keystone XL pipeline is growing. In November 2011 we circled the White House with 15,000 people. They said we would never get even 10,000 to come out on a cold day in Washington, D.C., and they were wrong! [Read more]

2012/2013 Legislative Review with Marty Mador
March 14 - Marty Mador, Connecticut Sierra Club Legislative and Political Chair, and two State Legislators (TBA) will review last year's wins and losses and discuss environmental issues and bills currently before this year's legislature. [Read more]
Hiking
March 16 - Enjoy a 3½ mile loop on rolling hills in Simsbury at an easy pace with hike leader Renee. Children 10 years of age and older welcome. [Read more]
June 1 - Join members of the Bolton Conservation Commission and meet nationally known arborist Matt "Twig" Largess for a two-mile Tree Walk through town-owned Freja Park along the Hop River State Park Trail to Bolton Notch State Park to the Squaw's Cave. [Read more]
