Dear
Fellow Sierran
Here's what's in this week's video edition of CoolCATs Weekly:
1) My Big Op-ed
2) Woodcock Outing with a Spin on Friday
3) Green Drinks on Thursday!
1) My Big Op-ed
|
Did you see my ecology economy opinion piece in the Providence Journal on Saturday? No? Well, here it is on RIfuture.org. I've been hearing a lot of good feedback already, but please help make sure as many people see it as possible. Share it on your favorite social medium or send it in an email to a friend. It's about time for Rhode Island to have a real plan for success.

2) Woodcock Outing with a Spin on Friday
|
Every spring, the Chapter conducts a Woodcock Outing in order to spot this elusive but entertaining woodland sandpiper. Last year, we were only able to hear their courtship dances. We won't be stopped so easily this year. On Friday, we'll be searching the fields and swamps of Matunuck at 6:30pm (Details Here). Beforehand at 5pm, we'll head down the road to Matunuck Beach to look at the effects of coastal erosion. See you there!

3) Green Drinks on Thursday!
|
The evening before our Woodcock Outing, March 21st, we'll be hosting Green Drinks at our office, 42 Rice Street, Providence, RI 02907. If you need help with directions, send me an email. Otherwise, I hope to see you there, starting at 5pm and going until 8pm.
