1) Cleaning Up the Blackstone, Sunday
Earth Day is here, and that means our yearly clean up outing should already have happened, but we were rained out on Saturday. We've rescheduled it for Sunday. Once again, we'll be going to pick up along the Blackstone River, this time in Lincoln around the Kelly House (1010 Lower River Road). Tell us you're coming and invite your friends on our Facebook event page. We'll be meeting there at 9:00 and be there until noon, carpooling from the office at 8:30.

3) The Not So Sunny News
While there has been significant progress made on many environmental fronts since the first Earth Day in 1970, our failure to curb carbon emissions is growing more and more apparent. In Rhode Island the worst effects have been felt on the South Shore. If you haven't been able to make it out to CRMC's Beach SAMP events, we've been documenting the grim news, and I hope you'll take the time to watch the videos we've produced and share them with your friends. You can go to our YouTube Channel to find them all. Especially from the SAMP kickoff direct to you: Dave Vallee, Jon Boothroyd 1, Jon Boothroyd 2, Jon Boothroyd 3, and Michelle Carnevale.
