For many of us, love for the outdoors starts at a young age. Unfortunately, many kids don't have too many opportunities to explore and enjoy the natural world. That's why Craig Jervis signed on to chair the Sierra Club's Nashville Inner City Outings group. Craig and a hard working network of volunteers are making a big difference for the lives of kids and youth in the Nashville area. Check out this video produced by Nashville ICO kids about their experience canoeing (and swimming) in the duck river.

Nashville ICO is one 52 volunteer led groups of the Sierra Club connecting youth and communities, with limited opportunities to explore the outdoors, with nature. Read the full blog here.
