Dear
Fellow Sierran

2) Abel on Viewpoint!
3) Climate Activist Videos for Sharing
1) August 22nd: Mr. Vice President Reject Keystone XL
|
In February more than two hundred people made their way down to Washington DC for the Forward on Climate Rally to tell the President to reject the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline that would bring tar sands oil from Alberta, Canada down to Texas. This time Washington DC is coming to us. Vice President Joe Biden is coming to Newport next week, and we're going to be there with the same message, no pipeline! RSVP and INVITE YOUR FRIENDS HERE.

2) Abel on Viewpoint!
|
Chapter Program Manager Abel Collins had a great interview with Joe Vileno on the local program "Viewpoint!" If you didn't catch it when it was broadcast, you can watch it at your leisure on our YouTube Channel. Part I is here, and Part II is here. The discussion focuses mainly on Brayton Point coal plant and the offshore wind power generation that is waiting to replace it.

3) Climate Activist Videos for Sharing
|
Speaking of our YouTube Channel, Robert Malin, one of the Chapter's most active volunteer leaders, has produced a series of short videos about moving beyond coal power (specifically Brayton Point) that should be seen by everyone. Please check out this series of videos and share it with your friends. Let's get people riled up!
