1) Wednesday: Banner Making Party at the Sierra Office
What's a protest without a good banner? No fun. Just as we did before the Brayton Point protest, the Chapter will be hosting a banner making party this Wednesday to prepare for the Vice President's visit on Thursday when we'll be delivering the message that the Keystone XL Pipeline must not be allowed to proceed. The party is at 6pm at our office (42 Rice St. 02907). In addition to making banners, we'll be crafting signs and buttons. Hope to see you there!

2) Thursday: Biden in Newport!
Energized by our wild night of arts and crafts, we're going to have a blast on Thursday when Vice President Biden arrives. Don't miss this rare opportunity to make your voice heard on an issue of planetary importance. Please INVITE YOUR FRIENDS ON FACEBOOK.

3) The Natural Gas Revolution that Wasn't
There have been headlines recently like "Saudi America," hyping the United States' imminent energy independence due to the wonders of extreme energy mining techniques like hydrofracturing and tar sands extraction. What if such headlines are just fantasy, propaganda from the energy industry desperate to hold onto its power? Listen to this great podcast and you decide.
