The Town of Queen Creek is considering adopting building codes that will help lower energy use and overall utility costs for homes built under the new codes. This is good news for town residents and for our state overall! Please contact the council and encourage it to adopt the 2012 International Energy Conservation Code! You do not need to be a resident of Queen Creek to contact the council. |

Energy Tip O' the Day (Correction) In Monday's message, we mistakenly reported a potentially exaggerated amount that you could save by not using a second refrigerator or freezer. The correct info is below. Do you have a second refrigerator or freezer in your home? Do you really need it? If so, do you need it year-round? By only using one refrigerator or freezer – or by only using your second one when needed – you can save up to $100 a year. |
