|Tell Congress to put the brakes on fracked gas exports!
Congress wants to put liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports on the fast track to becoming reality. Will you help stop this out-of-control train?
Opening the door to LNG exports means opening our communities and public lands to more fracking while leaving us to live with the aftermath -- air, water and climate-disrupting pollution. Shipping a dirty fossil fuel overseas only benefits the fracking industry. Will you tell your representative and senators that they must put the well-being of you and your family first and vote against any legislation that would open the door to more fracking?
Send your letter today. Tell Congress no to fracked gas exports.
The world's leading climate scientists have made it very clear that every nation must take major steps to curb climate disruption1, and LNG exports are a real threat to our climate for generations to come. If Congress passes any legislation that opens the door to LNG exports, they are willfully ignoring this dire warning. Let's remind members of Congress that exporting fracked gas will only spur climate disruption in our communities and throughout the world.
Take action to protect our climate, and tell your representative and senators to reject legislation that would fast-track LNG exports.
While so many of us are fighting to keep fracking out of our backyards, keep the natural gas industry accountable for their pollution, and demand strong regulations for this out-of-control industry, we need to make sure Congress doesn't undo all of your good work. Send your letter today and demand that any bill that would allow fracked gas exports to move forward is voted down.
Thanks for all that you do to protect our environment,
Director, Dirty Fuels Campaign
