1) What's Next? We'll Decide at Sunday's Retreat
After an astounding year of legislative victories, it's time to regroup and figure out what the next steps are for the Rhode Island Chapter. That's what we'll be discussing on Sunday at our Annual Retreat at the Kettle Pond Refuge Center in Charlestown. RSVP and Join the FB Event Here. It's going to be a particularly important retreat, because the Chapter has lost the funding to keep me around, and we need to plan for success without staff. I hope you can join us. It's from 10am-3pm, 50 Bend Road, 02813.

3) Guy McPherson's is Empty
While Al Gore is seeing roses, there are those who see a gloomier future, one that will manifest because we have already pushed past environmentally catastrophic tipping points. One of those people is Guy McPherson, who came to Rhode Island recently to give a talk about climate reality. You can watch the first part of that talk on our YouTube channel here. The truth is probably somewhere in between Gore and McPherson, but it's important to have all the possibilities in mind as we look ahead.
