1) Victory for Obama, for America
Thanks in part to the hard work of Sierra Club members and supporters energy played a key role in this year's election -- 50% of voters said energy issues were an important factor in deciding who to vote for. Now we are looking forward to an Obama administration, which has already made it clear that investing in cleaner energy will be "priority number one."

Find out what this could mean for the environmental movement.

2) Our Future: What's Your Vision?
The historic election of Barack Obama to be our next President offers tremendous opportunity to repower, refuel and rebuild America. From reducing our dependence on foreign oil, to jumpstarting the economy with investments in clean energy, to increasing energy efficiency to save consumers money and fight global warming, change is coming in a big way.

Now is your chance to tell President-elect Obama exactly what you want that change to look like.

Share your vision

3) The Bush Administration: Hope at the End of the Tunnel
Though it may seem like the list of last minute Bush administration environmental rollbacks is never-ending, a key Obama advisor offered some hope this weekend, saying that President-elect Obama will undo many of the Bush administration decisions on oil and gas drilling on public lands.

Among the decisions to be undone is opening up nearly 11 million acres of precious wilderness in Utah to drilling, which the Sierra Club and others have tirelessly opposed.

4) Veterans Day: Veterans Go Green
American FlagThanks to a partnership of the Sierra Club Foundation and Homes for Our Troops, green building materials and processes will be incorporated into new homes being built for severely injured veterans across the country. These specially adapted, handicap accessible homes will also now be highly efficient and will provide long term economic and environmental benefits to our veterans and their families.

This Veteran's Day the Sierra Club Foundation is proud to give back to the families that have given so much to our country.
