Join us for our Coal Free Day of Action in Olympia on Feb. 27

The TransAlta Coal Plant is Washington’s most harmful polluter. On Saturday, February 27, there will be a statewide Day of Action to demand an end to coal pollution in Washington by 2015.

join our rally in olympia!WHAT: At noon, hundreds will gather on the Capitol Lawn to deliver thousands of letters to Governor Gregoire asking her to put an end to coal pollution in Washington.

Then, at 1PM, find out more about the plan to transition off coal power at a Beyond Coal Panel Discussion in the State Senate Building.

The panel will layout a vision to replace coal power with clean energy and examine how that will improve public health, reduce 10% of Washington’s climate pollution, and create tens of thousands of clean energy jobs for our state.
