Senator Ticer's SB 564, the Stream Saver Bill, will prohibit the dumping of coal mining wastes from surface mining into streams, effectively stopping mountaintop removal mining. Your Senators are already hearing from the coal industry. It's time for them to hear from you! We just learned that coal companies are sending busloads of coal supporters to Richmond for this hearing on mountaintop removal on February 11. We need to make sure we turn out our supporters. So far over 100 people have registered. Our goal is 200 supporters. Can we count on you? |
