Minnesotans want a clean energy plan that continues the state's responsible transition to clean, renewable sources like wind and solar. This helps protect our lakes, rivers, streams and drinking water from mercury and other water pollution, preserve Minnesota's four seasons and special natural places from the impacts of a changing climate, and create new clean energy jobs.
We need to show our state leaders we support clean energy and jobs policies that enable Minnesota to reach at least half of our electricity statewide from renewable energy by 2030 and scale up energy savings programs that work. This is the right thing to do to create jobs, preserve our environment and create a healthy clean energy legacy for our children.
