The historic new fuel efficiency standards for cars and light trucks that President Obama announced this summer will cut America’s oil dependence, curb global warming emissions, and create nearly 500,000 new jobs, but the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) is already in Washington, D.C. trying to get Congress to stop this proposal from taking effect.
