The Sierra Club has worked to protect the Yellowstone region for nearly 100 years; opposing damaging plans for logging, oil and gas development, and geothermal energy development adjacent to the park.

We are also defending Yellowstone’s wolves and grizzly bears in the courts; and advocating for the removal of all private snowmobiles from the park in favor of “snowcoaches” which have significantly less impact on air quality, habitat disturbance and water pollution.
