Protect EPA's Ability to Clean Up Global Warming Pollution! |

In order to avert the catastrophic effects of climate change and protect the health and welfare of our communities, we must cut U.S. global warming emissions in half by 2030. Preserving the EPA's Clean Air Act authority to clean up global warming pollution is critical to this success. The Clean Air Act is one of our nation's most effective and beneficial pieces of public health legislation. For four decades this landmark law has successfully protected the health of millions of Americans from dozens of different air pollutants. Now, corporate polluters and their allies in Congress are attacking the Clean Air Act in order to give themselves a free pass to dump poisonous pollution into our air and water. The EPA does not want American families and taxpayers to end up holding the bag for these corporations and their poisonous pollution. That's why they are working under the Clean Air Act to implement and enforce common sense standards and safeguards to hold these corporations accountable and keep families safe from pollution. |
