Right now only a handful of sources, including coal power plants, are responsible for more than half of all the global warming pollution in the United States. These mega-polluters should be held responsible for their share. Join us at a hearing to support the EPA's Big Polluters rule and make these facilities accountable.
WHO: The Sierra Club and You vs. the Coal and Oil Industry.
WHAT: Join us in the Sierra Club's green room next door to the hearing to check out our videos and displays, and don't forget to pickup your 'Stop CO2' sticker to show your support inside the hearing! We will also be available to help anyone interested in speaking at the hearing.
WHEN: Thursday, November 19th
- 9:30am: Press conference with members of the scientific, faith, green business and health communities.
- 10am to 7pm: Hearing and green room open.
- 1:00pm: Lunch break panel discussion (food will be provided).
WHERE: Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Level 2, Room 46, 5555 North River Road, Rosemont, IL 60018 (

PARKING: The Rosemont Hotel at 5550 N River Road has offered Sierra Club members $5.00 parking for the day (usually $18.00) and 20% off at their restaurant. Just bring your ticket to the hotel lobby and tell them you are with the Sierra Club.
