LouisianaWhat: Christmas in September Rally - Coal Delivery to Entergy CEO, Wayne Leonard. Entergy has been naughty, and as global warming rises, Christmas came early this year. Entergy needs to focus more on clean, renewable energy and stop investing money in dirty fossil fuels, such as their RS Nelson plant in Louisiana and White Bluff plant in Arkansas. MichiganWhat: Coal is Dirty Business Rally. Join us as we call for strong regulations to clean up pollution from big coal. From soot pollution to coal ash to mining to carbon pollution, coal is dirty business and the DTE River Rouge Coal Plant is no exception. In 2006, the plant emitted:12,307 tons of sulfur dioxide, 3,967 tons of nitrogen oxide, over 3 million tons of carbon dioxide and over 100 lbs of mercury. Coal-fired power plants are one of the larges sources of air pollution in the US. Where: Intersection of W.
