Minnesota Clean Energy & Jobs Rally

Be a champion for health and the environment at your local caucus

This is your chance to set the agenda for our state. Every couple of years, neighbors gather for precinct caucuses at local schools, churches, and community centers to talk about Minnesota's future. Every caucus passes resolutions about the important issues of the day.

Setting a pro-environment agenda through our caucuses has an impact. In 2012, many of you passed clean energy resolutions that called for a clean energy roadmap. Governor Dayton responded in his 2013 State of the State address, calling on state leaders to outline Minnesota's next big leap toward a sustainable energy future.

The Sierra Club is supporting four caucus resolutions this year -- moving beyond coal to clean energy, protecting our waters from sulfide mining, saying no to the expansion of burning garbage for energy, and a transportation options resolution. All you have to do is sign up and download one of our sample resolutions to take to your local caucus.
