This September, the Sierra Club Global Population and Environment Program will be hosting an advocacy training in Washington, DC. On September 25th & 26th, youth and adults interested in the connections between sustainability, population, consumption, and reproductive health and justice are invited to come learn about these intersectional issues of local and global significance.

Attendees will also receive training in leadership and advocacy skills, including practical tips on how to mobilize communities and influence decision makers when advocating for these important intersectional issues. Food will be covered for all participants during the training. Applicants from all backgrounds and levels of experience are encouraged to apply. Please return the application to Kim Lovell at kimberly.lovell@sierraclub.org by September 1, 2010 at 5:00pm EST.
