Legislators from Minnesota and Wisconsin are pushing a radical bill that would facilitate the construction of a $700 million bridge over a protected river. The bill passed the Senate and could be voted on in the House as early as this Wednesday. This bill would set a never-before-seen precedent, as such a highway has never been allowed over a congressionally designated wild and scenic river.

Please urge your representative to oppose this bill.

This week they celebrated the recovery efforts thus far and encouraged people to continue helping the community rebuild.
