Royal Dutch Shell is supposed to start drilling in America's Arctic in just a few days -- but the company recently admitted that it can't keep the promises it made when it comes to cleanup equipment or clean air protections. And this month a Shell drill ship came dangerously close to running aground on its way to the Arctic. If Shell is scrambling like this at the last minute to start drilling, what will it do when an oil spill happens?

Tell President Obama and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson that Shell can't be trusted.

More than 5,000 people gathered in Washington, D.C., this past Saturday for the "Stop the Frack Attack" rally.

"Our call to action, in concert with over 130 other organizations, was to demand that no more drilling harm our public health, water, and air," said Deb Nardone, director of the Sierra Club Beyond Natural Gas campaign.

Sierra Club volunteer Susan Connolly gave some very moving testimony at a pipeline safety hearing in Washington, D.C., last week.

"If you want to know whether tar sands oil is safe, come to Michigan and see firsthand," said Susan, whose family suffered health problems after the 2010 Enbridge tar sands oil spill in the Kalamazoo River.
