As Labor Day approaches, congressional cheerleaders for Big Oil and Big Coal continue to sit on a critical incentive for renewable energy, the Production Tax Credit for wind power development. Failure to act on this important tax credit is threatening jobs we need right now. The industry has already lost nearly 1,400 positions because of uncertainty over the credit’s renewal, and economic forecasters predict it could lose 37,000 more if Congress continues to delay.

Tell Congress to act today to save clean energy jobs!

Patrick is using the long swim as a fundraiser for the Sierra Club Water Sentinels program. You can follow along with his Labor Day Weekend swim on his website.
