The production tax credit and the investment tax credit have helped move technologies like wind and solar from the margins to the mainstream. Clean energy and energy efficiency are driving private investment, creating jobs, and moving us closer to a carbon-free energy future. Unfortunately, many of these clean energy tax incentives will expire at the end of the year if Congress does not act to extend them.
