Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2010
The Senate recently approved the additional construction of more than 300 miles of border wall. But there is still time to remove this harmful provision and to protect the communities and wildlife of the borderlands from more unnecessary harm.

The Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009
This act will protect more than 2 million acres of Federal land as wilderness, protect more than 1,000 miles of rivers through the National Wild and Scenic River System, and designate thousands of miles of trails for the National Trails System.

The Omnibus Public Land Management Act will greatly increase protections for America's public lands heritage. The bill will also sustain natural resources and recreation opportunities that drive many local economies. Send a message to Congress today thanking them for passing such a monumental bill! If your congressional member did not support the bill, send them a message urging future support for legislation that will protect our wildlands today and for generations to come.

The American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009
This historic legislation will put the U.S. on the path to slash the carbon emissions that cause global warming 80 percent by 2050, a necessary accomplishment to preserve the planet for future generations.

On February 18th, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a funding bill, or Continuing Resolution, that seeks to roll back bedrock government programs to protect Americans' health and environment while doling out cash giveaways to corporate polluters. Find out if your representative stood with American families or corporate polluters, and send a message to Congress that we will not stand by while they put our health and environment at risk.
